The minute repeater equipment applied on the Admiral series of watches is especially designed for all the navigators. They are in a position to recognize the daytime and night easily by the timing bell of the engine equipment including morning bustle, evening ring and colors attention. All these rings can make the sailors adjust the periodical life then to accentuate the uniqueness of the minute repeater system.
With the purpose to pop out the 50th milestone of the Admiral series, Corum positively launched CO 010 movement which symbolizes the top craftsmanship of watch making. The mini mechanical structure of complication converged the excellent craftsmanship of Corum watches with a diameter of 32mm. Hand-winding movement has a thickness of 5.35mm with the power reservation of 72 hours. For the sporty watches, the button exposure of the minute repeater system no doubt risks the damage of the movement in daily use. Taking this element into consideration, the designers set a rotating bezel of uniqueness on the Corum Admiral 50th Anniversary wristwatch. This innovative design not only retained the original design and assured the perfection of the minute repeater but also replaced the traditional button. You just need to counter-clockwise rotate the bezel around 27 angles, and then you can easily start the repeating function. Meanwhile, it reduced the possibility of damage.
The ultimately sophisticated movement crafted by the experienced and skillful craftsmen totally covers 319 parts. It costs 140 hours for assembling and additional 10 hours to adjust the minute repeater system. Such a masterpiece indicates the great achievement of Corum watches in exquisite craftsmanship. It is said that 10 Corum Admiral Wristwatches in limited edition will be finished at the end of 2010.
