If marvelous watches should have the virtues of both aesthetic and functionality, the Breguet Queen of Naples 8967ST can boast as the so-called masterpiece. Its simple yet aesthetic design has won it the unprecedented praises again and again. I appreciate the designs of Breguet watches as well as their sophisticated performances.
Quite distinctively, its steel case is egg-shaped curved with a dimension of 43.75 x 35.50 mm. Beautiful lines and profiles are the main attractions. At the same times, its exquisite materials and decorations bring the watch with the numerous refined qualities. This model has two versions: the one with the white mother-of-pearl dial and the one with blue dial and strap. The white version does cater to my tastes because I just cannot reject its sky-like background. Of course, some ones show the special favor to the mysterious blue item.
On the dial, you can find lots of pleasures. The relief-painted Arabic numerals of 6 and 12 are full of artistic feeling. They are so eye-catching that people may easily forget the absences of other hour’s indices. In fact, other 10 hour’s indices are pointed by slab-sided arrows. Its finely fluted case hands do fit perfectly with the artistic sense. At the top left corner of the dial, the “Breguet No 2662” signature with the beautiful letter type also draws my great attention. The off-centered chapter ring at 6 o’clock position is also the great embellishment.
Featuring with a mechanical self-winding movement called Calibre 591C which consists of 25 jewels and, the Breguet Queen of Naples 8967ST has a power reserve of 38 hours, a frequency of 4Hz and water resistance of 30 meters. The gold oscillating weighing 22 carat is hand-engraved on the rose engine. And they are all covered by a gorgeous sapphire-crystal case-back.
The white dial item is complemented with a grey alligator leather strap with steel folding clasp, while the blue one is paired with a blue strap. They are all exuding the irresistible charm from the aesthetic exterior and functional performances.
